Clerk's Office Copy Requirements

The only document for which the Clerk's Office requires a copy (in addition to the original) is a Proof of Claim in a Chapter 12 or 13 case — when the Proof of Claim is filed in paper. You should submit additional copies at the time of filing if you want endorsed copies returned to you. If copies are to be returned by mail, submit a self-addressed, stamped envelope of the appropriate size.

The original need not have an original signature. See Local Rule 9011-4.
