Important Notice About Information in the Clerk's Practice & Procedure Guide

You should be aware that the October 1996 edition of the Clerk's Practice & Procedure
Guide is out-of-date, specifically  regarding mandatory electronic filing by attorneys, the Bankruptcy
Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act, and the Court's use of CM-ECF for electronic filing
and PACER for access to case records. 

Updated information is available on the Court's website at www.nmcourt.fed.us/usbc.

Although most aspects of the Guide are outdated, a few still remain effective, and thus we
continue to make portions of the Guide available for your reference.  Much information that is explanatory in nature or
which was not changed by BAPCPA is still current.   If you have a question about the currency of
