Electronic filing of documents is mandatory in this court for attorneys and trustees.

  • To register for an attorney account:

Holders of an ECF account and other persons who want to view and print case records must register for a PACER account. In addition to the ECF e-filing account with this court, e-filers should also have a PACER account.

Filers of proofs of claim and other claim-related documents that are administrative in nature (not necessarily requiring review by the court) may register for an ECF limited-use account to file these documents electronically.   E-mail the signed form as a PDF document to ecfhelp [at] nmcourt [dot] fed [dot] us .

Training

Online Training:  The Electronic Filing Manual serves as online training and provides step-by-step instructions for filing bankruptcy cases, proofs of claim, and more.

In-person Training:  The Clerk's Office periodically conducts CM/ECF training classes. Three types of classes are offered:

  • training for attorneys who represent debtors,
  • training for attorneys who represent creditors, and
  • training for adversary cases.

The classes run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  NOTE: These classes are temporarily suspended due to flood damage of the training room.

To register for a class, send an e-mail to ecfhelp [at] nmcourt [dot] fed [dot] us. You must register. Do not show up at a training class without first having registered and received a registration confirmation.

All classes are conducted in the Clerk's Training Room, located in the Clerk's Office. The Clerk's Office is on the 10th floor of the Dennis Chavez Federal Building and United States Courthouse, 500 Gold Avenue SW, Albuquerque, NM.
