Search for a Plaintiff

The Search for a plaintiff screen appears.  

A search may be performed by Social Security Number Tax Identification Number, Last Name (or business name, first name and/or middle name)

1. Enter the plaintiff's social security number or all or part of the Last/Business name and click Search

2. The Party search results appear.  If the party listed matches exactly the name on the complaint, choose them from the list and click Select name from list
   • Note:  A pop-up screen with the plaintiff's information will display - it is not necessary to close the window, click Select name from list to continue

Or, if your search returns No person found or the party search results do not return the desired results, click on the Create new party button
