Meeting of Creditors
A meeting of creditors pursuant to 11 U.S.C. §341(b) is held in every bankruptcy case filed. The Clerk's Office includes the notice of the meeting date, time, and location in the Clerk's notice to all creditors of the filing of the bankruptcy petition. If the debtor's mailing address city and physical address city are different, the debtor's address entered in CM/ECF is what is used to assign the 341 meeting location. If the debtor's physical address is outside of New Mexico, the meeting will be held in the meeting city closest to the city address of the majority of the debtor's creditors.
