Courtrooms

Courtrooms, hearing and conference rooms, and judge's chambers are located on the 13th floor of the Dennis Chavez Federal Building and United States Courthouse, the same building that houses the Clerk's Office.

Courtroom Locations

Judge Starzynski's courtroom is the Animas Courtroom, located on the west side of the 13th floor.  Judge Starzynski conducts preliminary hearings in his Hearing Room, Room 13102.

Judge Jacobvitz's courtroom is the Sandia Courtroom, located on the east side of the 13th floor.  He conducts preliminary hearings in his Conference Room, Room 13017.  Scheduling Conferences are conducted for Judge Jacobvitz by his courtroom deputy clerk, Chris Wilson, in Chris' office, Room 13500.

Matters are also heard in Las Cruces and Roswell at the Federal Buildings & United States Courthouses located at:
