Submitting Proposed Orders via E-Mail

Introduction

If directed by chambers staff, or if you are a limited access user submitting an order on payment of unclaimed funds, submit the proposed order via e-mail.

Formatting Requirements

  1. Attach the proposed order as an MS Word or Corel WordPerfect file to a transmittal e-mail.

Note:  Orders submitted in other formats, such as PDF, RTF, or DAT, cannot be accepted.

 

  1. Include the bankruptcy or adversary case number in the subject line of the e-mail.

 

  1. Include the signature block for the judge at the end of the body of the order.

 

  1. Format the signature line of submitting attorney as in the following example:

  1. Format the approval of counsel as in the following example:

  1. Submit the proposed order to the appropriate judge:

 

    Judge Jacobvitz — jacobvitz@nmcourt.fed.us (one order per e-mail message).  

    Judge Thuma - thuma@nmcourt.fed.us

Returned Orders
